The Adult Program at United Ability offers a variety of services to provide life enrichment activities for individuals with disabilities. These activities encourage community participation and increase skill levels in activities of daily living. Participants are afforded the opportunity to develop leisure and recreation interests.

Training classes are held to provide instruction in social skills and soft skills. Research tells us that these are the skills that often equip a person to acquire and keep a job. The skills learned in these classes are practiced in real work settings through volunteer and paying jobs in the community. Trainees are also assisted in obtaining Non-Driver IDs and Food Handler’s Cards, if desired.
