Share Your Time and Talents

Thank you for your interest in engaging with our programs as a volunteer. Whether spending a few hours with us for a specific project or serving in a longterm capacity, you will go home with a firsthand connection to our caring staff and promising participants.

We accept volunteers based on current organization needs and COVID protocols (which may be subject to change). Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate large groups.

To inquire about immediate volunteer opportunities or to be added to our notification list as opportunities are available , contact Lee O’Neil at (205) 944-3909 or loneil@unitedability.org.

Please be aware that volunteer opportunities with our children’s programs are extremely limited.
Volunteers who are interested in longterm service (i.e., serving more than 16 hours in a  year) must complete a TB test, background check, attend orientation, and complete other requirements as needed.
