Many employers offer matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their current or retired employees. Contact the Human Resource Department for your current/former employer to determine if this is offered and to obtain required forms, if applicable.

Gift of Stock
Donating stock directly to United Ability can increase the amount of money we receive by the while reducing your tax burden. When you donate appreciated securities (investments that have increased in value from the time they were purchased), you may be able to take advantage of IRS tax provisions to claim a charitable tax deduction for the full, fair market value of the securities. This means you may avoid paying capital gains tax on the transfer.
