United Ability Employment Services’ unique approach to job placement is a comprehensive blend of identifying our client’s unique talents and interests with the needs of employers. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and for seeing them as the individual they are, not just their disability. We promote our clients to employers who we believe will be a good fit for our clients, both in the type of work offered, but also the culture of the business.

Employers can often be anxious about hiring someone with a disability, which is why it is our goal to also educate the employer on the support system we provide to each one of our clients.

There are many benefits to work. For most of us, work is part of our identity. When we work we feel good about having a job, we often see ourselves in a more positive way. Work provides structure and routines. Job income gives us more choices about what to buy, where to live, and gives us a chance to build savings.

When researchers asked individuals with disabilities if they want to work, nearly 7 out of every 10 said they would like to have a job. Research shows 6 out of every 10 individuals with disabilities can work at a job in the community if they are provided with the right types of services and supports. United Ability Employment Services offers these supports to the employers we partner with and our clients.
